yup, everybody's busy at this time of life, , you're 17 rite? For my opinion, you shouldn't follow your idol's STYLE, I think if you want to have your own comic, that when people read it to regconize it's your work, try doing something "different" from the others. And the best first step is to learn the basics, not to draw fan art. And if it comes to fan art - it just should be to keep your hands not to forget how to draw, or just to have fun.
